Staff Software Engineer (Fullstack): Working with the team and product management to simplify insights from data. Focus on building robust, scalable, and delightful products.

Location: Vancouver will be the newest R&D center for Databricks, expanding presence in the Pacific Northwest.

What you will do

Work with team and product management to make insights from data simple.
Take on the full scope of the product and user experience beyond the technical implementation.
Set the foundation for how to build robust, scalable, and delightful products.

Requirements

10+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Passion for user experience and design and a deep understanding of front-end architecture.
Comfortable working towards a multi-year vision with incremental deliverables.
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or VueJs/Ember).
10+ years of experience with server-side web technologies (eg: Node.js, Java, Python, Scala, C#, C++,Go).
Experience with cloud technologies, e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes.
Experience developing large-scale distributed systems.
