Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack (App Experience) (React)

Location: Remote in Canada only; open to candidates residing in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, or Saskatchewan.

Base pay: CAD $153,000–$213,000 per year.

What you will do

• Break down larger projects into phases and deliver well-scoped tasks with support from technical leadership.
• Build and evolve frontend-facing projects across web and mobile product experiences.
• Collaborate with product management, design, analytics, and engineering teams on ideation, technical constraints, risks, and trade-offs.
• Design, develop, and launch scalable APIs and solutions spanning multiple software components.
• Create and monitor operational metrics, support artifact availability, and participate in on-call and maintenance efforts.
• Contribute to engineering growth through code reviews, feedback, and participation in interviews.

Requirements

• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Experience shipping web applications with declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Experience shipping mobile applications using native or cross-platform technologies such as React Native.
• Experience designing, developing, and launching APIs at scale with languages such as Kotlin or Python.
• Ability to navigate large codebases, debug existing code, write clear and well-tested extensible code, and conduct code reviews.
• Equivalent practical experience or a bachelor's degree in a related field.
