Professional Services Consultant (Cybersecurity)

Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia; onsite and remote delivery activities may be included within customer engagements.

What you will do

• Lead the technical delivery of Professional Services engagements from requirements capture through design, deployment, migration, cutover, testing, knowledge transfer, and signed completion.
• Translate customer requirements into documented low-level designs aligned with hirify.global best practices.
• Deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and support hirify.global solutions in complex production environments, including out-of-hours change windows.
• Act as a senior network security reference point for the ANZ Professional Services team and review peer designs.
• Mentor less experienced consultants and create reusable design templates, build guides, test plans, migration runbooks, and technical notes.
• Manage scope, risks, project reporting, time recording, delivery documentation, customer handover, and commercial compliance.

Requirements

• 8–10 or more years of relevant industry experience, preferably with a network security vendor, systems integrator, or managed security service provider.
• At least 5 years of LAN, WAN, and Internet infrastructure engineering, support, or administration experience.
• At least 3 years of customer-facing delivery experience with network security products.
• Experience delivering projects for large enterprises, government, financial services, or service provider environments under formal change management.
• hirify.global certification at FCP level or higher, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to produce design documentation and present technical positions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• FCSS or FCX certification and hirify.global specialisations in SD-WAN, Secure Access, Public Cloud, or Security Operations.
• Certifications from Cisco, Palo Alto, F5, Juniper, Check Point, Radware, AWS, or Azure.
• PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile project management certification.
