Consulting Architect (Cloud, Security & Networking)

Location: NSW, Australia; hybrid arrangement with three days in the office and two days remote or from home

What you will do

• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and C-suite executives across banking, insurance, and government accounts.
• Develop enterprise technology strategies, roadmaps, and transformation programs across ICT, cloud, applications, security, and managed services.
• Own solution design and lead major customer engagements, proposals, bids, tenders, and multidisciplinary delivery teams.
• Translate complex business challenges into innovative, commercially viable solutions with measurable customer outcomes.
• Provide market insights, competitive analysis, and technology thought leadership while shaping future opportunities.
• Connect sales, product, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure technically robust and commercially sound implementations.

Requirements

• Extensive ICT and telecommunications consulting or architecture experience with enterprise customers, preferably in financial services or telecommunications.
• Experience developing customer relationships, account strategies, technology roadmaps, and enterprise transformation strategies.
• Hands-on experience designing enterprise contact centre solutions; NiCE CXone and Cognigy are highly desirable.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise networking, including LAN switching, wireless, campus infrastructure, WAN, SD-WAN, MPLS, fibre, and hybrid connectivity.
• Experience with security architecture, Zero Trust, SASE, and cloud architecture across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Degree or formal qualification in Telecommunications or Information Technology, plus relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Palo Alto Networks, ITIL, or TOGAF.

Nice to have

• Experience with Genesys Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics 365, AWS Connect, Avaya, or Verint.
• Knowledge of Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, Palo Alto Prisma, Viptela, or comparable platforms.
• Experience preparing PSOWs, work orders, pricing models, ROI analyses, and RFP, RFI, or RFT responses.
