What you will do

• Define security solution architectures, requirements, high-level designs, impact assessments, and security risk assessments.
• Ensure solution architectures comply with security policies, standards, patterns, and principles, managing deviations through risk frameworks.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, engineers, vendors, delivery partners, and operational teams to implement security controls.
• Perform security quality assurance and support operational readiness for initiatives and solution designs.
• Identify and communicate security risks while incorporating input from privacy, legal, engineering, and operations teams.
• Develop security strategies, standards, frameworks, roadmaps, and reusable patterns, including assessments of emerging security capabilities.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience providing complex security solutions, including security requirements, control definition, and threat or risk assessments.
• Experience solving enterprise-scale security problems in ambiguous environments and contributing to architecture or technology strategy.
• Knowledge of access control, cryptography, security architecture, information security governance and risk management, network security, regulatory compliance, and AI security.
• Ability to document architectures, requirements, models, frameworks, patterns, and standards for complex IT and network systems.
• Tertiary qualification in IT, engineering, or a complementary discipline.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CRISC, CISSP, CISM, SABSA, CCNP, CCIP, CCIE, CCSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT 5, Agile, or CGEIT.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps environments.
• Knowledge of IT systems planning, design, and technical architecture.
• Experience designing service-oriented, RESTful, and secure cloud-based architectures.
