Senior Manager, Strategic Finance (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid or remote work based on proximity to office hubs; travel is expected, including attendance at several team and company-wide offsites each year.

What you will do

• Lead strategic analyses covering M&A screening, market entry, pricing, product launches, competitive positioning, partnerships, and commercial deal structures.
• Build and own long-range financial models covering multi-year revenue forecasts, investment scenarios, strategic alternatives, and sensitivity analysis.
• Own GTM finance analytics, including CAC, sales efficiency, funnel conversion, LTV:CAC, retention, churn, cohorts, upsell, and cross-sell economics.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and executive leadership to turn analysis into actionable recommendations.
• Prepare board and investor materials, executive presentations, investment briefs, and strategic summaries.
• Develop AI-assisted workflows that automate recurring finance, competitive monitoring, pipeline monitoring, and reporting processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, management consulting, FP&A, or comparable analytical roles.
• Strong financial modeling skills, including ARR and revenue modeling, pipeline and capacity planning, scenario analysis, stress testing, and sensitivity testing.
• Experience building models from scratch and working on cross-functional initiatives with senior stakeholders.
• Experience creating at least one reusable prompt workflow for a recurring finance deliverable and explaining the time saved.
• Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets, with experience using SQL, BI tools such as Looker, AI tools, and workflow automation.
• Excellent strategic thinking, communication, presentation, organization, ownership, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Background in SaaS.
• Experience connecting AI tools to live CRM or financial data sources for recurring monitoring.
