Production Planner (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Pueblo, Colorado, United States. Travel up to 5% within the continental United States.

Salary: $65,000–$85,000 per year base salary.

What you will do

• Execute daily and weekly MRP runs in NetSuite, review planning suggestions, and release work orders and purchase requisitions.
• Maintain planning data integrity across BOMs, routings, lead times, safety stock, reorder points, and other ERP/MRP parameters.
• Manage work orders from release through completion and resolve discrepancies between system records and production-floor status.
• Maintain lot and batch traceability for energetics programs, including propellant grain manufacturing and batch mix operations.
• Translate the master schedule into material availability, work order release, and purchasing requirements while escalating shortages and schedule risks.
• Build planning reports and support ERP/MRP implementation activities, including data validation, item master cleansing, testing, and go-live readiness.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old and eligible to obtain and maintain applicable state and federal explosives licenses.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and state and federal background checks.
• Must meet U.S. person or required authorization conditions under ITAR and other U.S. Government export regulations.
• 2–4 years of production planning, materials planning, or MRP execution experience in manufacturing.
• Hands-on ERP/MRP experience with work orders, order exceptions, planning data, and MRP concepts; NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, Microsoft Office and Excel proficiency, and experience creating reports from ERP data.

Nice to have

• Experience in defense, aerospace, chemical, or other regulated manufacturing.
• Knowledge of AS9100, lot and serial traceability, DFARS, FAR, or ITAR requirements.
• Experience with ERP/MRP implementation, data migration, item master setup, and go-live validation.
• APICS CPIM certification or active pursuit, and a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
