Senior Specialist, Production Planner

Location: Chaska, Minnesota, United States; on-site manufacturing environment

Salary: $80,000–$102,000 per year, with actual pay dependent on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Develop, manage, and adjust production schedules to support demand forecasts, efficient workflow, and on-time delivery.
• Review MRP signals, create and update work orders, and communicate planning changes to manufacturing and procurement.
• Identify and resolve material, labor, tooling, and capacity constraints through structured problem solving.
• Lead weekly capacity and production meetings and drive accountability for execution and mitigation actions.
• Maintain planning master data, review engineering changes and quality notifications, and assemble work-order packets.
• Analyze work-order variances, support root-cause investigations, and coordinate tooling or process updates with operations and tool-room teams.

Requirements

• Must have the right to work in the United States without sponsorship; immigration-related sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• At least 5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or related manufacturing operations.
• Advanced SAP experience, preferably with materials management or production planning modules.
• Strong understanding of MRP/ERP planning processes, data analysis, capacity constraints, and independent decision-making.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field; high school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and work with required PPE including safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, gloves, or cleanroom attire.
