Production Planner III

Location: On-site in Cortland, New York, United States

Annual salary: $85,000–$100,000, plus bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Develop production schedules to support on-time delivery of finished goods and customer orders.
• Review MRP requirements and Kanban triggers in SAP to evaluate component and material needs.
• Release manufacturing production orders and communicate schedule delays, expedites, cancellations, and attainment concerns.
• Provide production lead times based on material availability, production capacity, and manufacturing capability.
• Collaborate with operations, supervisors, sales, and other functions to determine appropriate customer responses.
• Control cost, quality, schedule, inventory, and health, safety, and environmental activities for the location.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing materials, planning, and scheduling, or an associate degree and 5–7 years of related experience.
• Experience with continuous improvement systems and processes.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• SAP business system experience is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Cortland, New York.
