Machine Operator I - 3rd or Weekend Shift Available

Location: Menominee, Michigan, United States; on-site work

Salary: $19.75–$24.65 per hour, plus applicable shift premiums. Third shift starts at $19.75/hour plus a $1.00 premium; weekend shift starts at $21.94/hour plus a $1.00 premium.

What you will do

• Set up and operate bending machines for standardized machining operations.
• Identify tooling, follow equipment startup and shutdown procedures, and adjust machines as needed.
• Read blueprints, plan operating routines, and produce parts to specified tolerances and finish requirements.
• Inspect and measure finished work, perform rework, and maintain production, quality, downtime, and maintenance records.
• Recognize machine malfunctions, make corrections, perform general machine maintenance, and keep the work area orderly.
• Train assigned operators on work tasks, safety procedures, equipment use, and ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality standards.

Requirements

• Knowledge of shop math and ability to plan the sequence of processes using standard methods.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring equipment.
• Team-oriented approach, dependable attendance, and willingness to resolve problems collaboratively.
• Ability to work safely and follow procedures for protective equipment and devices.
• Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
