CNC Machinist | Day Shift

Location: Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, United States; onsite, Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Salary: $30–$45 per hour

What you will do

• Set up and operate Haas CNC mills, including 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines with live tooling.
• Use G and M codes, CAM software, tooling, and fixtures to produce precision components.
• Validate and post machining programs, then adjust G-code, fixtures, and tooling to improve quality and efficiency.
• Perform first-article and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify print tolerances.
• Create and improve setup sheets, work instructions, and machining best practices.
• Operate independently across multiple machines while meeting timelines and supporting lean manufacturing improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Apprenticeship or technical education in precision machining, CNC, or manual machining.
• Experience with CAM software; Mastercam is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions and understand GD&T.
• Experience working with tight tolerances and precise measurements, with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain standing or walking for extended periods.

• Experience with Haas CNC mills.
