Outside Sales Associate (Welding Equipment Rental)

Location: Las Vegas, NV — 2620 S Highland (RDA), with 50% travel within the assigned territory

What you will do

• Develop rentals and sales of welding equipment, power generation, and weld automation solutions.
• Follow sales leads, prepare quotations, deliver presentations, and maintain customer follow-up.
• Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate welding and positioning equipment.
• Perform onsite equipment demonstrations and develop long-term supply relationships through contracts or agreements.
• Build the end-user customer base, attend trade association meetings and trade shows, and meet rental and sales goals.
• Submit accurate sales call reports and expenses and provide branch coverage when needed.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education equivalent to a diploma in Business Management or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to guide and mentor associates, delegate effectively, communicate clearly, and build customer relationships.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions under company policies, and solve conflicting or challenging situations proactively.
• Ability to maintain a safe working environment in line with health and safety guidelines.

Nice to have

• Two years of sales experience in industrial equipment rental or welding equipment sales or rental.
• Experience in construction, fabrication, or manufacturing sectors.
• Working knowledge of positioning equipment, welding applications, and welding equipment.
