Registered Nurse-Interventional Cardiology Full-time Day Shift

Location: 12251 S. 80th Av., Palos Heights, Illinois, United States; day shift, onsite

Salary: USD 34.50–55.20 per hour

What you will do

• Provide individualized, age-specific nursing care from admission through discharge.
• Assess and document patient status, nursing diagnoses, interventions, responses, and progress.
• Develop, update, and evaluate evidence-based plans of care and discharge plans.
• Identify patient and family education needs and provide appropriate instruction.
• Collaborate with patients, families, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals on care planning and continuity.
• Present relevant patient information at multidisciplinary meetings and make referrals when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or an Associate Degree in Nursing with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of starting the clinical nurse role.
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• Additional certifications may be required for specific departments, including ACLS for non-invasive cardiology and emergency-care certifications for emergency departments.

Nice to have

• Experience in the specific clinical area.
• Relevant emergency, pediatric, trauma, or specialty nursing certifications for applicable departments.
