Senior Analyst, Corporate FP&A

Location: San Diego Headquarters, United States; onsite

What you will do

• Manage budget and forecast consolidations across Computational, Discovery & Experimental, Clinical & CMC, and G&A functions.
• Support long-range corporate modeling, capital management, growth planning, and scenario analysis.
• Lead annual planning, mid-year reforecasting, and quarterly budget-to-actual reviews for G&A groups.
• Build and maintain financial models and budgets tracking spending by group and program.
• Partner with G&A leaders, Accounting, and senior leadership to provide actionable financial insights.
• Develop scalable FP&A tools, systems, and processes and identify efficiency improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 4–6 years of professional FP&A experience, preferably in biotech, pharma, or life sciences.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and financial consolidation processes.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical, prioritization, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to work onsite at the San Diego Headquarters.

Nice to have

• MBA or CPA.
• Experience in investment banking, public accounting, or management consulting.
• Experience with NetSuite, Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, or similar ERP and financial planning tools.
