TL;DR
Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A): Managing company-wide headcount consolidation, G&A and R&D expense reporting, and financial planning platform administration with an accent on forecasting, data integrity, and executive reporting. Focus on maintaining Pigment models, analyzing headcount and expense variances, and building bottom-up assumptions for long-range financial plans.

Location: Hybrid in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States; three days per week in the office. Candidates must be able to commit to this schedule or relocate.

Base salary: $110,000–$113,000 USD per year, plus potential bonus, commissions, and benefits.

What you will do

  • Maintain the master company-wide headcount model, including actuals, approvals, hiring plans, and governance across global departments.
  • Perform monthly headcount variance analysis and identify hiring, capacity, backfill, and overhiring risks.
  • Own G&A and R&D expense variance reporting, root-cause analysis, annual operating plans, and rolling forecasts.
  • Administer the Pigment platform, including access management, model enhancements, data refreshes, maintenance, and process automation.
  • Prepare management reports, board materials, private equity sponsor reporting, and long-range financial planning models.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of progressive FP&A experience, preferably in a global, multifunctional, technology, or private-equity-backed environment.
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills and strong experience with headcount modeling, data accuracy, reconciliations, and structured analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related quantitative field.
  • Ability to consolidate information from cross-functional stakeholders and manage competing priorities independently.
  • Ability to work from the Raleigh office three days per week is required.

Nice to have

  • Direct experience administering Pigment.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite and Databricks.
  • Master’s degree or professional certification.
