Corporate Finance Manager (Defense Technology)

Location: Remote

Salary: $150,000–$185,000 per year, plus equity and bonus opportunities

What you will do

• Manage and continuously improve monthly, quarterly, annual, and long-range planning processes.
• Build forecasts and financial models covering revenue, operating expenses, cash flow, component costs, capital structure, and other business drivers.
• Analyze actual performance against plan, identify variance drivers, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Create recurring and ad hoc reporting on financial performance, operating metrics, and KPIs.
• Support strategic decisions involving commercial opportunities, investments, corporate development, and potential M&A.
• Partner with Accounting and other teams to improve financial processes, controls, systems, and executive reporting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in corporate finance and FP&A, ideally in a fast-paced, high-growth technology company.
• Advanced financial modeling, business analysis, data visualization, and executive communication skills.
• Strong finance and accounting fundamentals with the ability to analyze complex business problems and large amounts of information.
• Ability to collaborate across the organization, learn new financial and operational tools quickly, and work with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to balance thoughtful analysis with fast decision-making, challenge assumptions, and communicate recommendations effectively.

Nice to have

• Experience working at a startup or high-growth company.
• Experience implementing or administering financial planning and forecasting tools.
• Cost accounting experience or familiarity with manufacturing-oriented financial analysis.
• Experience with NetSuite, especially supply chain or manufacturing functionality.
