Youth Empowerment Coaches (Bilingual)

Location: Dallas, TX, USA; primarily in a defined office environment. Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with up to 50% travel as needed.

What you will do

• Manage a caseload of participants through counseling, mentoring, employment planning, and case management.
• Assess skills, work history, education, barriers, and career goals to develop realistic career pathways.
• Provide job-search assistance, referrals, training information, and access to available supportive services.
• Monitor participant attendance, eligibility, progress, employment retention, training outcomes, and measurable skills gained.
• Maintain accurate electronic and paper records, case notes, assessments, approvals, and program documentation.
• Prepare participants for successful program exit and continued employment or advancement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution or 3–5 years of case management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, interviewing, and employment counseling skills.
• Knowledge of workforce development programs, including WIOA, TANF, NCP, SNAP, and Young Adult programs.
• Familiarity with local communities, workforce center operations, public employment programs, and employment resources.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office, TWC Mainframe, WIT, and other computer systems for accurate data entry and reporting.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing and proof of liability insurance required.

Nice to have

• One to three years of experience in workforce development or related programs.
• Knowledge of techniques for developing jobs in public and private-sector settings.
• Bilingual communication skills.
