Immigrant Youth Program Coordinator

Location: Miami, FL, USA; hybrid work with office, remote, and field time within Miami-Dade County. Travel within Miami-Dade County, occasional domestic travel, and occasional evening or weekend work may be required.

Pay rate: $27.49–$28.93 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide wrap-around case management, needs assessments, individualized service plans, advocacy, referrals, and orientation for immigrant children and their families.
• Coordinate care with legal service providers, community partners, subgrantees, and other stakeholders.
• Handle crisis intervention, including mandated reporting to Child Protective Services when necessary.
• Maintain confidential case records, collect high-quality data, submit reports, and support program development and compliance.
• Lead and supervise interns and volunteers through delegation, coaching, feedback, one-on-one meetings, and professional development support.
• Represent the program at community meetings and public forums, build partnerships, promote enrollment, and distribute in-kind donations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, international affairs, human services, or a related field; a graduate degree is preferred.
• Relevant direct-service experience with unaccompanied children or immigrant youth is required; five or more years of experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage complex and sensitive psychosocial, protection, health, immigration, and criminal justice cases.
• Strong relationship-building, diplomacy, networking, communication, organization, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Fluent English, spoken and written, is required; Spanish proficiency is desired.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal, insured vehicle; proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital data tools.
