Associate Director – Network Security (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $152,240.27–$188,215.21 annually, excluding bonuses, differential pay, and other compensation or benefits.

What you will do

• Develop and execute a network security strategy aligned with organizational security objectives and risk tolerance.
• Lead and mentor network security specialists responsible for monitoring, controls, and incident handling.
• Design and implement security architectures covering firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention, VPNs, and secure access controls.
• Establish incident response procedures, lead investigations, coordinate remediation, and report on incident outcomes.
• Conduct network risk assessments, prioritize vulnerabilities, and collaborate with security and IT teams on mitigation.
• Manage security vendors, compliance activities, reporting, training programs, and the network security budget.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree.
• At least 7 years of experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Experience with network security strategy, architecture, incident response, risk assessment, and compliance.

Nice to have

• Prior supervisory experience.
• Vendor certification for Palo Alto, F5, or Gigamon.
