Network Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Manage the security and performance of VMware Horizon-based virtual desktop infrastructure.
• Administer Palo Alto PA-3430, Cisco Firepower 2130, Nexus switches, firewall policies, VPNs, VLANs, and access control lists.
• Configure OpenVPN and IPsec tunnels and implement network segmentation using a Zero Trust model.
• Provision, patch, harden, and manage Windows 11, Linux, and BlueStacks endpoint environments through ManageEngine.
• Design and optimize Cisco HyperFlex infrastructure, golden images, GPU virtualization, and Android emulation for VDI.
• Develop automation scripts and workflows for policy enforcement, virtual desktop deployment, and system updates.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, applicable to the customer
• Hands-on experience with firewall administration, Network Access Control, and access controls.
• Experience with VPN tunneling, endpoint security, and mobile emulation environments.
• Experience securing and managing endpoint devices, including BlueStacks.
• Experience with network and endpoint systems, security policies, and infrastructure administration.

Nice to have

• CCNP Security, PCNSE, ITIL v4, Microsoft MCP, or CompTIA Linux+ certification.
• Experience collaborating with cybersecurity and VDI teams.
• Experience providing training and support, conducting security assessments, and implementing Zero Trust.
