Health Information Specialist I (Onsite) (Healthcare)

Location: Onsite in Red Bank, NJ 07701, United States. Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.

Salary: $15.92–$19.44 per hour.

What you will do

• Serve as the front desk contact for patients requesting medical records or releases.
• Provide phone support to patients, providers, and authorized requestors.
• Process Release of Information requests accurately and promptly.
• Fax, scan, and manage incoming and outgoing medical record requests.
• Burn medical images to CDs and share images electronically when required.
• Support client communication, reporting, data entry, email, and administrative activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfort working in a patient-facing front desk environment.
• Attention to detail when handling confidential information.
• Reliability, punctuality, professionalism, and the ability to multitask independently.
• Compliance with HIPAA, privacy regulations, and facility policies.
