Injury Prevention Specialist

Location: Georgetown, Kentucky, United States; on-site at a health center. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:30 p.m.–2:00 a.m.

What you will do

• Perform physical demand and ergonomic assessments to identify high-risk tasks and recommend preventive strategies.
• Lead individual and group training in functional movement, job simulation, and injury prevention.
• Provide client follow-up, care coordination, and performance recommendations based on movement and ergonomic principles.
• Collaborate with on-site medical and safety teams on injury prevention and wellness initiatives.
• Maintain accurate patient health records and complete documentation and administrative tasks.
• Participate in meetings, task forces, and other assigned activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in health sciences, exercise science, kinesiology, or another movement-related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in the health or fitness industry and occupational health and safety.
• Current CPR certification with hands-on training through AHA, ARC, or Basic Life Support for community or lay responders.
• Current hands-on First Aid training through AHA or ARC.
• Knowledge of current OSHA regulations, group exercise programming, and ergonomics is preferred.
