Physician Assistant

Location: Joliet, Illinois, United States. Onsite role at a health center, scheduled for 40 hours per week with one required late shift.

Salary: $128,000–$138,000 annually

What you will do

• Provide clinical care to client employees and their dependents.
• Conduct physical examinations and preventive health assessments.
• Perform injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develop patient care plans, document progress, and maintain continuity of care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe or recommend treatments, and make specialist referrals.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams while maintaining accurate patient records.

Requirements

• Maintain the licenses and certifications required to practice in the applicable state.
• Current NCCPA national certification.
• Degree from an ARC-PA-accredited program.
• Federal DEA license matching each applicable state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support certification with hands-on training from AHA, ARC, or an equivalent provider; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may be required depending on the contract scope.
• At least three years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, or emergency medicine.
