Physician Assistant - Virtual Health Assessment

Location: Remote, open only to candidates residing in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, the District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia. Daily work is performed from a home office; occasional travel may be required for team meetings and company events.

Salary: $116,400–$140,000 per year, plus annual performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Provide evaluation, management, and high-quality primary care to patients in a virtual setting.
• Use prescriptive authority under a collaborative practice agreement and consult physicians on complex patient care.
• Follow up on laboratory results, imaging, and closed-loop communication with patients and other providers.
• Conduct virtual examinations using remote home-monitoring equipment, remote physical examination tools, and point-of-care diagnostics.
• Collaborate with registered nurses, medical assistants, primary care providers, behavioral health clinicians, and clinical supervisors.
• Participate in huddles, case conferences, service-line meetings, and improvements to operational workflows and product features.

Requirements

• DNP, FNP, ENP, or PA qualification from an accredited program.
• Board certification through NCCPA, AANP, or ANCC.
• At least 3 years of experience in outpatient family medicine, internal medicine, or primary care.
• At least 2 years of experience delivering virtual care.
• Licensure in at least two core Oscar states is required, including a Florida license.
• Texas and/or Georgia licensure is preferred.

Nice to have

• Compact RN license if practicing as an APRN.
• Experience with remote diagnostic and home-monitoring tools.
• Willingness and ability to obtain additional licenses in Oscar Medical Group states.
