Maintenance Technician II - Technical Support

Location: Clayton, North Carolina, United States; onsite manufacturing-facility role

What you will do

• Improve the performance, reliability, and uptime of process equipment.
• Restore equipment function through technically correct troubleshooting and repairs.
• Lead event response and perform corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor equipment performance and trends, develop action plans, and support reliability improvement projects.
• Coordinate planned and corrective maintenance activities and support process operations.
• Record and review maintenance data, oversee SAP work orders, and support training and coaching for operations personnel.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a relevant field, equivalent military training, or industrial training covering mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• At least five years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of compressed air, electromechanical controls, electrical and mechanical systems, instrumentation, and robotics.
• Experience with SAP, automated records systems, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Computer literacy and experience applying troubleshooting strategies.
• Ability to work safely in manufacturing conditions, remain on foot for up to 12-hour shifts, handle equipment or supplies up to 33 pounds, and work around noise, hazardous materials, confined spaces, elevated heights, and variable temperatures.
