Senior Supervisor, Meter Operations

Location: On-site in Torrance, California, at the South Bay Service Center, with possible extended assignments at the Santa Monica Service Center; up to 60% travel throughout the SCE service territory.

Salary: $129,200–$193,700 per year

What you will do

• Supervise 14–17 IBEW-represented field service employees within Metering Operations.
• Manage meter reading, credit, revenue protection, and customer billing work orders while ensuring safety and compliance.
• Plan and schedule multiple construction and specialized technical energy delivery projects.
• Manage budgets, resources, productivity, cost efficiency, and customer delivery dates.
• Oversee distribution system clearance reviews, analysis, switching plans, and risk-assessed operational planning.
• Coordinate with regulators, evaluate bids, and improve operational data analysis and reporting tools.

Requirements

• Four or more years of combined experience performing or supervising quality control and inspection.
• Experience leading teams in a field environment.
• Experience with field computer applications such as ClickSoft and related work management systems.
• Experience with labor relations, diversity matters, and applying collective bargaining agreements.
• Experience evaluating employee performance, developing employees, providing coaching and feedback, and hiring field personnel.
• Ability to work on-site and travel up to 60% throughout the SCE service territory.
