Senior Procurement Process Improvement Lead

Location: Hybrid in Rosemead, California, US. Employees are required to work and reside in California and report to an SCE facility for a set number of days.

Salary: $161,700–$242,600 per year

What you will do

• Lead procurement transformation projects, including scope, budgets, timelines, resources, teams, and issue management.
• Evaluate and improve end-to-end Source-to-Pay processes through Lean Six Sigma, Agile, analytics, automation, and AI.
• Develop procurement policies, governance frameworks, strategic plans, training programs, process documentation, and technology-enabled solutions.
• Build KPIs, dashboards, reports, and data-quality resources to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction.
• Prioritize technology initiatives, manage resources within annual budgets, and provide business and technical support to operations.
• Build relationships across the organization, influence stakeholders without direct authority, and lead sustainable adoption of process improvements.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in business process improvement or operational excellence initiatives.
• Experience leading complex procurement transformation, category management, strategic sourcing, supplier selection, and end-to-end procurement lifecycle initiatives.
• Strong procurement, commercial, financial, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Ariba Contracts, Sourcing, Buying, Supplier Lifecycle and Performance, SAP Materials Management in ECC, and S/4HANA.
• Experience leading and implementing projects and process improvements, including DMAIC or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Ability to work and reside in California and attend an SCE facility under the hybrid work arrangement.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, engineering, or a comparable field.
• Experience developing SharePoint solutions with PowerApps, PowerAutomate, and Power BI.
• Utility industry or procurement consulting experience.
