Senior Commercial Sourcing Advisor - Los Angeles Refinery

What you will do

• Manage material purchasing for routine maintenance and turnaround activities supporting the Los Angeles Refinery.
• Develop regional and local sourcing strategies, contracting strategies, decision summaries, and supplier initiatives.
• Lead bid packages from scope development through purchase order execution, including vendor pre-bid meetings and site walks.
• Analyze markets, benchmarks, proposals, total cost of ownership, should-cost models, and supply disruption root causes.
• Develop cost savings, cost avoidance, value creation, risk reduction, and strategic sourcing projects.
• Manage supplier performance, KPIs, issue resolution, contractor qualification, and continuous supply chain improvement.

Requirements

• Work in Carson, California, supporting the Los Angeles Refinery.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Four or more years of supply chain or relevant business experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience with SAP, Ariba, Tableau, and M365.
• Ability to conduct market analysis, negotiate purchase orders, interpret commercial and financial data, and validate cost savings.

Nice to have

• C.P.M. or C.P.S.M. certification.
• Extensive materials knowledge and experience supporting turnaround activities.
