TL;DR
Senior Commercial Reimbursement Analyst (Aerospace/Defense Finance): Managing and analyzing budget data, commercial cost estimates, reimbursable billing, and financial execution for Space Force acquisition and logistics programs with an accent on PPBE, acquisition financial management, and commercial vendor reconciliation. Focus on developing budget strategies, analyzing current and prior-year funds, and supporting financial reviews in a classified U.S. space-program environment.

What you will do

  • Develop, integrate, and analyze budget data throughout the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution process.
  • Support Space Access Portfolio Acquisition Executive and Space Mobility & Logistics programs.
  • Provide budget expertise for Program Objective Memorandum development, Budget Execution Reviews, and financial management reviews.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate budget cuts and support budget reallocations and reprogramming actions.
  • Analyze and reconcile current-year, prior-year, and canceled-year funds.
  • Monitor and report reimbursable bills and outlays from commercial launch providers and federal agencies.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in Department of War acquisition system program offices, acquisition financial management, or budget analysis, including at least 8 years in a space system program environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Department of War acquisition process, including planning, formulation, programming, execution, justification, reporting, and program documentation.
  • Experience with Federal Direct and Indirect Reimbursable Billing procedures.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; a master’s degree in mathematics, business, economics, finance, accounting, engineering, or statistics is highly desired.
  • U.S. citizenship and a minimum of Secret clearance are required.
  • Experience with Air Force financial systems and tools including FM-Suite, Wide Area Workflow, myInvoice, GAFS, MOCAS, PMRT, IDECS, CRIS, PIEE, DEAMS, ADVANA, Power BI, and Excel is highly desirable.

Nice to have

  • Experience with launch, range, satellite acquisition, and related budget planning and execution.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant quantitative, business, finance, engineering, or science discipline.
