Fire & Security Estimating Coordinator

Location: 100% remote from Metro Manila, Philippines, working UK business hours and observing UK public holidays

Salary: PHP 70,000–80,000 per month

What you will do

• Review architectural floor plans, survey notes, photos, and site videos to define project scope.
• Specify fire alarm, intruder alarm, IP CCTV, access control, and related equipment.
• Calculate material quantities, device counts, cable runs, labor requirements, and project costs.
• Prepare itemized client quotations and material lists while maintaining target profit margins.
• Source supplier pricing, identify upgrade opportunities, and translate engineer findings into professional quotes.
• Coordinate with engineers, clients, Operations, and Service teams on technical queries and site visit requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in Fire & Security estimating, desktop surveying, or system design.
• Knowledge of fire alarms, intruder alarms, IP CCTV, and access control platforms.
• Ability to read scale floor plans and schematic drawings and extract measurements.
• Working knowledge of relevant British Standards for fire and security installations.
• Ability to calculate margins, labor, and accurate project costs.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and Word, and standard quoting software.

Nice to have

• Hands-on installation or service engineering experience.
• Experience with CAD or PDF markup tools such as Bluebeam for digital takeoffs.
• Familiarity with Texecom, Hikvision, Paxton, C-TEC, Ajax, EMS Smartcell, or Pyronix.
