Technical Program Manager II (Cybersecurity)

Location: San Jose, California; onsite work required. Fully remote work is not available. The compensation section also lists Spokane, Washington.

Annual base pay: $147,600 in San Jose, CA; $123,000 in Spokane, WA. Salaries are fixed and non-negotiable for the stated locations.

What you will do

• Build and maintain project plans covering scope, schedules, resources, dependencies, budgets, and risks.
• Lead product requirements and scope gathering across multiple teams and business functions.
• Establish delivery plans, negotiate priorities, and resolve strategic issues affecting schedules.
• Monitor project progress, develop recovery strategies, and provide operational, process, and cost analytics.
• Prepare executive presentations and lead program-level meetings for Product Lifecycle Management governance.
• Run retrospectives and collaborate across the organization on process and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Successfully completed the hirify.global Summer 2026 Internship Program and received an invitation to apply for a return role.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field, with graduation between December 2026 and September 2027.
• Ability to start no later than September 30, 2027 and work onsite according to hirify.global policies.
• Understanding of project management processes, strategies, and methods, including Agile or Waterfall approaches.
• Experience managing a geographically dispersed project team and working in a concurrent software development environment.
• Strong communication, organization, critical thinking, scheduling, risk management, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Nice to have

• PMP certification and project management experience.
• Agile ScrumMaster certification, such as CSM, A-CSM, or CSP-SM.
• Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
