Sr Program Manager, Software (MedTech)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; onsite. Up to 25% travel may be required.

Base pay: $157,000–$271,400 per year.

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, initial release, and subsequent launches of the Ottava system.
• Drive end-to-end software schedules and translate them into quarterly objectives and key results.
• Use a hybrid Agile methodology to deliver short-term milestones supporting the overall development strategy.
• Manage program risks through contingency planning, conflict resolution, and tradeoff assessments.
• Align cross-functional stakeholders, communicate difficult decisions, and strengthen team effectiveness.
• Manage and develop people through development plans and growth opportunities.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of program management experience.
• Technical experience, preferably in an engineering capacity, with experience leading complex programs in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with MSP is required; experience with Agile methodology and Jira is preferred.
• Experience in a regulated environment is required.
• Must be located in Santa Clara, California, and able to work onsite.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of direct or indirect people leadership experience.
• Experience with large capital programs involving complex integrated subsystems such as robotics, aerospace, or autonomous vehicles.
• Medical device experience.
