Project & Program Management II (Networking)

Location: Fremont, California, United States; work may be performed remotely or from the local client office, with availability across multiple North American time zones.

Salary: $66,120–$104,400 USD gross base pay annually.

What you will do

• Plan and coordinate lab operations and network deployment projects from initiation through closure.
• Review bills of materials, manage assets and materials, and maintain lab inventory databases across data centers and warehouses.
• Track milestones, timelines, deliverables, project status, risks, metrics, and change control activities.
• Coordinate procurement, deployment, post-deployment activities, stakeholder meetings, vendor interactions, and project documentation.
• Use KPIs and project metrics to evaluate delivery performance and recommend process improvements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and communicate project updates to client executives and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, with 2–5 years of related experience.
• 2–5 years of project management experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably supporting data centers or network hardware.
• Solid understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, IP network configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Experience with live network environments, data center lifecycles, large-scale networks, fiber optics, optical networking, and related components.
• Strong communication, documentation, analytical, organizational, risk management, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work remotely or from the local client office across multiple North American time zones.

Nice to have

• PMP, PgMP, PfMP, PPM, CPD, CPMP, or similar certifications.
• Understanding of the OSI model.
