Financial Analyst (AI)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement of 2 days per week

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 USD annual base salary, plus discretionary bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Prepare deal-review analyses with Sales and leadership to support pricing decisions.
• Analyze spend allocation, pipeline efficiency, unit economics, ROI, and strategic investments with Marketing and Product.
• Support capacity planning, CapEx assessment, GPU financing models, and return analysis.
• Prepare lender and investor materials, maintain data rooms, and support M&A diligence.
• Build and maintain driver-based P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, forecasting, planning, and reporting models.
• Produce executive and board materials, analyze business trends and KPIs, and maintain FP&A systems and data accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or a comparable analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including financial model building.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ownership, bias to action, and a growth mindset.
• Ability to work in a hybrid schedule based in San Francisco, with 2 days per week in the office.

Nice to have

• Experience in software, AI, or cloud infrastructure.
• Exposure to capital markets, M&A, or CapEx financing.
• Familiarity with cloud or AI infrastructure economics and data center capacity planning.
• Experience with FP&A systems and data tooling such as NetSuite.
