IPT Lead - EPS Module Manufacturing (Aerospace)

Salary: $155,000–$210,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of technicians and manufacturing engineers responsible for battery pack production.
• Oversee end-to-end production with a focus on quality and on-time delivery.
• Improve material handling, production lines, testing processes, and 6S practices.
• Coordinate material ordering, production planning, and test software development with cross-functional leaders.
• Partner with Quality to implement process controls and disposition nonconforming hardware.
• Develop production dashboards covering material tracking, deliveries, yield rates, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of manufacturing experience developing build procedures and at least 2 years managing manufacturing teams.
• Experience with welding equipment used in battery pack production and safety.
• Experience implementing 6S process improvements and reporting production metrics to leadership.
• Experience with AEGIS or Manufacturo, as well as MES and ERP tools.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or otherwise eligible for required U.S. government space technology export authorizations. A current U.S. national security clearance or eligibility may also be required.
