Machine Shop Lead

Location: Must be based in Everett, WA (On-site)

Salary: $121,000 – $142,000

What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of machinists, welders, and technicians through coaching and technical guidance.
• Establish daily priorities and coordinate shop resources to support aggressive R&D and production schedules.
• Partner with engineering teams to provide design for manufacturability (DFM) feedback and develop effective machining strategies.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality machined components while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in machining processes, tooling, and shop workflows.

Requirements

• Must be able to work on-site in Everett, WA.
• 5+ years of experience in machining, manufacturing, and prototype fabrication.
• 3+ years of experience leading or supervising a team.
• Strong understanding of CNC and manual machining operations, tooling, and fabrication processes.
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, and mechanical design requirements.
