Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting (AI Infrastructure)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; on-site

Compensation: $165,000–$200,000 per year plus bonus and restricted stock units

What you will do

• Lead technical accounting for critical and complex revenue streams, including non-standard transactions.
• Analyze contracts and identify accounting implications involving acceptance criteria, termination clauses, variable pricing, financing components, and principal-versus-agent considerations.
• Advise Legal, Project & Cost Controls, Construction Managers, and Finance on evolving deal structures and business models.
• Translate technical accounting conclusions into processes for billing, collections, financial reporting, systems, and data flows.
• Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analyses.
• Manage external audit support, internal controls, data integrity, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
• Eight or more years of relevant accounting experience.
• Deep expertise in US GAAP, especially ASC 606 and ASC 842, applied to complex non-standard transactions.
• Strong contract analysis, technical research, documentation, communication, and process-implementation skills.
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco, United States.

Nice to have

• Public accounting experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Sage Intacct, Stripe, or equivalent ERP and billing systems.
• Experience coaching or managing accountants.
• Revenue accounting experience in energy, infrastructure, construction, or data centers.
