Director, Finance (AI Data Infrastructure)

Location: San Jose, California, with a secondary office location in Irvine, California; onsite at the San Jose headquarters or Irvine office

Salary: $199,500–$266,000 per year

What you will do

• Serve as the primary finance partner for the Product & Engineering organization.
• Translate product and business strategies into financial plans with Product leadership.
• Lead a team of five financial analysts supporting business functions.
• Manage headcount planning, non-labor forecasting, OpEx, CapEx, and program-level forecasts.
• Prepare executive reporting on R&D spending, trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Lead monthly reviews with VP- and SVP-level stakeholders and approve relevant month-end journal entries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• 10+ years of progressive finance or FP&A experience supporting R&D, Product, Engineering, or technology organizations.
• Strong experience in spend management, workforce planning, forecasting, AOP/LRP, and financial modeling.
• Strong analytical, process-improvement, communication, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.
• People leadership experience and the ability to operate in a fast-moving environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, plus experience with BI or data analytics tools.

Nice to have

• MBA, CFA, or an equivalent advanced qualification.
