Director, Compensation & Equity

Location: 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, New York; hybrid schedule requiring office work at least four days per week

Salary: $200,000–$225,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonus and long-term incentives

What you will do

• Lead administration of equity compensation programs, including grants, vesting events, award modifications, and plan operations.
• Coordinate annual and ad hoc grant cycles and equity-related corporate actions.
• Partner with Payroll, Tax, Finance, Accounting, Legal, HR, and external providers on processing, reporting, and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with securities laws, tax regulations, accounting requirements, insider trading policies, and plan provisions.
• Maintain plan documentation, governance controls, procedures, and operational processes.
• Support stock compensation expense reporting, share usage forecasting, dilution analysis, executive communications, and broader compensation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of progressive compensation experience.
• Knowledge of equity compensation programs, including restricted stock units, stock options, and performance-based awards.
• Advanced Excel skills, large-scale data analysis, financial modeling, and executive-level reporting experience.
• Strong communication, judgment, project management, organizational, collaboration, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling highly sensitive and confidential information.

Nice to have

• Degree in Human Resources, Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience with Fidelity Stock Plan Services or similar equity administration platforms.
