Senior Purchasing Agent (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Partner with requestors to understand procurement needs and requirements.
• Obtain and evaluate vendor quotes for cost-effectiveness and compliance.
• Create and process purchase orders or make purchases by credit card.
• Monitor vendor performance and maintain supplier relationships.
• Reconcile procurement documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Place, track, and report on purchasing requirements for project teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 7+ years of related experience.
• Working knowledge of CostPoint and NASA FAR requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

• Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and customer interface skills.
• Experience working effectively in a team-oriented environment and independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
• Strong attention to detail.
