Logistics Supervisor (Aerospace and Defense)

Location: Dayton, OH, United States; office or hybrid environment. U.S. citizenship is required, and the role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. Travel, including overseas travel, may be required.

What you will do

• Oversee logistics operations, contract execution, depot support, and resource allocation.
• Manage inventory, transportation, warehouse, and supply chain coordination.
• Serve as the primary customer contact for logistics and depot support requests.
• Develop and deliver customer training programs and logistics support materials.
• Supervise and mentor logistics staff while monitoring performance and implementing corrective actions.
• Control logistics costs, ensure regulatory and contractual compliance, and implement process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related area; 9 years may substitute for the degree.
• Experience managing logistics operations and supervising a team.
• Experience in logistics or warehouse environments and warehouse management systems.
• Strong knowledge of logistics processes, inventory management, and supply chain coordination.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or logistics and supply chain certifications such as CSCP or CLTD.
• Lean or Six Sigma process improvement experience.
• Experience with military units, SIGINT systems, aircraft sensor equipment, hazardous materials, ITAR, or third-party shipping vendors.
• Background in aerospace and defense, the U.S. Department of Defense, or the U.S. military.
• Current CDL and a clean driving record.
