Senior Water & Wastewater Engineering Project Manager

Location: Hybrid role based in Seattle, Washington, with office and field work across the Pacific Northwest

Salary: $170,000–$200,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Stock equity participation may be available based on experience and level.

What you will do

• Lead the full lifecycle of complex municipal and industrial water and wastewater infrastructure projects, from scoping and planning through construction, commissioning, and closeout.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams developing studies, master plans, designs, technical specifications, and engineering reports.
• Serve as a senior client advisor for municipal utilities, public agencies, private-sector clients, contractors, subconsultants, and regulatory stakeholders.
• Manage project governance, quality assurance, risk mitigation, budgets, forecasts, scope changes, schedules, and profitability.
• Mentor engineering and project delivery staff while supporting succession planning and professional development.
• Support business development, proposals, client engagement, public presentations, and growth of water and wastewater services in the Seattle region and Pacific Northwest.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive experience delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex municipal utility projects.
• Proven success in client relationship management, winning new work, and business growth.
• Strong knowledge of project delivery methods, permitting, regulatory compliance, and utility infrastructure planning.
• Bachelor of Science degree in civil, environmental, chemical, mechanical, or related engineering.
• Professional Engineer license, or ability to obtain Washington PE reciprocity.
