Civil Engineer - Site Design

What you will do

• Produce basic civil engineering designs and CAD drawings for small- to mid-sized site development projects.
• Prepare plans, design calculations, project documentation, schedules, and technical reports.
• Develop and maintain design models and project information using design and project management software.
• Coordinate with experienced engineers and designers on non-routine techniques and procedures.
• Conduct research, recommend solutions, and travel to job sites for observation when needed.
• Mentor student interns in developing foundational technical skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Engineer Intern (EI/EIT) certificate required.
• 2+ years of related civil engineering design experience.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to contribute effectively in a team.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD.

Nice to have

• Experience with Civil 3D.
