Layout Technician (AutoCAD)

Location: Stockton, California, United States; onsite

Salary: $18.00 per hour

What you will do

• Process special work orders, customer drawings, and sketches.
• Create basic 2D and 3D working drawings in AutoCAD for production associates.
• Prepare bills of materials to maximize resource and component efficiency.
• Plan material usage and implement solutions for production, material, and quality issues.
• Inspect production processes and perform quality control checks against company standards.
• Communicate with customer service representatives, production workers, customers, and other team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of related experience and/or training, including AutoCAD use, required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, part prints, sketches, and diagrams.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, raw materials, quality control, and production efficiency.
• Ability to use measuring tapes, micrometers, calipers, combination squares, protractors, and pin gauges.
• Ability to operate computers, ERP systems, Word, Outlook, and SAP.

Nice to have

• Vocational certificate or degree in AutoCAD.
