Senior CADD Technician (AutoCAD)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD, GIS, and related software.
• Prepare plans, designs, permits, plan and profile drawings, and technical documentation with engineers, project managers, surveyors, and GIS professionals.
• Use survey and field data to create and revise drawings based on markups, sketches, and verbal direction.
• Organize project files in document management systems and follow company standards.
• Support mining, energy, and infrastructure projects across multiple offices and business units.
• Mentor junior team members and improve CADD, GIS, software, and project workflows.

Requirements

• Associate of Applied Science degree in computer-aided design and drafting.
• At least 10 years of AutoCAD experience, preferably in civil or mining environments.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD 2018 or newer and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail, presentation skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; the role requires operating a company or personal vehicle for business travel.
