Director, Compliance (Healthcare)

Location: Remote or hybrid in the United States; minimal travel of less than 20%.

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and operationalize healthcare compliance policies and procedures.
• Provide actionable compliance guidance and support to teams across the organization.
• Develop and deliver compliance education materials and training sessions.
• Lead healthcare compliance risk assessments, annual audit planning, audits, and spot checks.
• Manage the confidential compliance hotline, investigations, reporting, and exclusion screenings.
• Support Compliance Committee meetings and advise cross-functional teams on compliance implications for new products and operational initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in healthcare, preferably in a clinical laboratory environment.
• At least 5 years of experience managing others, preferably in healthcare compliance.
• Working knowledge of healthcare regulations, federal and state laws, and laboratory billing and coding standards.
• Ability to independently manage multiple high-risk projects, prioritize by risk, and collaborate across functions.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and Microsoft Office skills.

Nice to have

• Active compliance certification such as CHC or CCEP.
