Engineering Specialist I (Equipment Maintenance)

Location: Woodlands, Singapore. On-site role working a 12-hour night shift from 7:30pm to 7:45am in a clean room environment. No travel required.

hirify.global operates a large electronics manufacturing site supporting recording media production.

What you will do

• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot production and testing equipment to minimize downtime.
• Establish and implement preventive maintenance programs and procedures.
• Perform head changes for Burnish, Glide, and Cert heads.
• Troubleshoot testers down to the board level and maintain automation systems, including pick-and-place robots.
• Monitor machine yield and performance through real-time systems and take corrective actions.
• Administer training on equipment operation, preventive maintenance, and repair procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Self-motivated, positive, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work on-site in a clean room environment.
• Willingness to work the 12-hour night shift from 7:30pm to 7:45am.

Nice to have

• Relevant manufacturing industry experience.
• Experience troubleshooting equipment to the board level.
