Associate Manager - Operations (Logistics)

What you will do

• Lead daily account execution and performance while ensuring customer service and operational goals are met.
• Act as an onsite operational partner, building relationships with customer stakeholders and internal teams.
• Identify and resolve process, cost, service, profitability, customer, and operational issues.
• Coach, develop, and hold direct reports accountable through one-on-ones, performance reviews, mentoring, and feedback.
• Prepare customer-facing and internal performance reports, using data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain the Transportation Management System, including rates and related operational configurations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, warehousing, or a related operations environment.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience, including people leadership, coaching, training, or operations supervision.
• Experience working directly with customers or external stakeholders in an operational environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace, plus strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work 100% onsite at the customer facility in Columbus, Indiana.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, transportation, logistics, business administration, operations management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of transportation or logistics experience, preferably in an onsite, embedded, or dedicated customer account environment.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills and experience with Tableau or similar reporting tools.
• Experience with continuous improvement, KPI development, operational reporting, employee coaching, and cross-functional leadership.
