Actuarial Analyst - Seattle Health

Location: Seattle, WA, USA; full-time onsite work at the hirify.global office

Salary: $80,169–$136,160 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Develop and apply actuarial models for healthcare pricing, forecasting, and related analyses.
• Analyze complex healthcare data and create reports using spreadsheets and databases.
• Draft professional reports and correspondence for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Review and validate colleagues’ work to maintain quality standards.
• Contribute to research initiatives and marketing projects.
• Pursue actuarial examinations with the goal of achieving Fellowship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, economics, or a related field.
• Up to four years of healthcare actuarial experience.
• At least one Society of Actuaries exam passed; two or more exams are preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong written, verbal, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future immigration sponsorship from hirify.global.
• Willingness to work onsite full-time in Seattle, Washington.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SAS, SQL, R, Python, or Microsoft Power BI.
• College GPA of 3.3 or higher.
• Prior actuarial internship or relevant data analysis experience.
