Associate / Senior Associate, Corporate Actions

Location: Newport Beach, California, or Austin, Texas, USA

Base salary: $87,000–$112,500 per year, plus a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of mandatory and voluntary corporate actions.
• Process bank loan amendments and restructures, proxy voting, defaulted securities, and class action litigations.
• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of corporate actions data pipelines.
• Cleanse, normalize, reconcile, and validate data from vendor feeds, custodians, and exchanges.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Management, Credit Research, Legal & Compliance, Account Management, and IMS Operations.
• Improve data management, technology connectivity, automation, and operational effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 2 years of experience in corporate actions and the full asset servicing lifecycle for global assets.
• 3–7 years of professional experience in financial services or investment management operations, including trade support operations.
• Knowledge of multiple asset classes, fixed income fundamentals, corporate event impacts, process controls, and escalation frameworks.
• Experience with API integrations, data feeds, AI, and technology-enabled workflow automation.
• Proficiency in Bloomberg, Microsoft Office, Excel, SQL, VBA, and Python.
